Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways To Give

Give In Person

At each of our worship gatherings, we have ushers pass an offering box throughout the sanctuary where you can give to the work and mission of City on a Hill Church. There will be envelopes made available for you to use in the chairback holders in the sanctuary or welcome City Center. Simply put your name and the date on the envelope and drop it in the offering box. 

Give Online

If you would like to sign up for Online Giving, simply
set up a recurring amount to the right, or you can do it through our church app if you like. (You can download our church app in your app store on your phone by typing City on a Hill Church MH.)  This will only take a few minutes. You can schedule a recurring gift or process a one-time gift in a simple and secure way. If you have additional questions about giving, CLICK HERE

Online Banking

If you would like to give through your online banking application, set your payments up per your bank’s instructions to send to City on a Hill Church, P.O. Box 2215, Mountain Home, AR 72654.

Text Giving

Stocks & Gifts

You can give stocks, real estate or other assets in a simple way while reducing your tax bill and increasing the amount you can give. City on a Hill Church partners with the National Christian Foundation (NCF) to handle all donations of stock, mutual funds, restricted securities and other asset-based giving. To give stock or other assets or securities to City on a Hill Church, please contact our financial secretary by clicking HERE. Frequently Asked Questions

Is my giving safe/secure?
Yes. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for "Secure Socket Layer," a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the internet. It's the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.

Will I still receive a giving statement if I give online?
Yes, we provide giving statements on an annual basis. Just make sure your address information is current and you'll get yours in the mail.

I've never done this before. How much do most people give?
The Bible refers to 10% of our income as a target for giving (also referred to as tithing), but more  than 50% of all regular church goers give nothing. If every attendee gave just 3-4% of their income, our church impact would more than double! If you've never given before, pick a percentage of your income that you want to give and start giving regularly. If you're already tithing, stay  the course and watch God honor your sacrifice! We recommend that you give online. It's simple and secure.

Can I schedule recurring donations?
Yes! In addition to one-time gifts, you can also set up a recurring gift online. You can specify how often (frequency) you want your contribution to be made (i.e. weekly, monthly, etc.). This is absolutely the best way to give consistently with your finances. Choosing to give online has another advantage: while the offering is being received in service, you won't have to fumble around with your envelope; you can just pray, sing, and enjoy God in the moment since you've already given!

If I give online, what types of payments do you take?
We accept a variety of payment methods including by ACH, debit card, and major credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express). We want to make sure giving is convenient and not a hassle for you.

What if I change credit cards or want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?
No problem! With your login information, you can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at any time, including the credit card, expiration date, gift frequency, and amount.
